With eight different interchangeable capsules The Bottle is not just a microphone, but a microphone system. In an instant, capsules can be changed to deliver different tonality, patterns and uses while the microphone is still turned on. Thus eliminating the need for many types of microphones. The amplifier design is based on a single vacuum tube pentode EF86 in a triode mode. This tube is hand-selected by BLUE personnel for low noise performance.

The Bottle mic is packaged with one B6 Lollipop capsule and the 9610 Tube Mic Power supply. BLUE has developed the 9610 with the new SOFT START feature to assure the longevity of the vacuum tube, and the stability of the microphone circuitry. No other commercially available tube mic power supply offers this unique feature. Blues Champagne tube mic cable is standard inclusion and all the above is all housed in a Blue velvet lined ATA approved flight case. In 1969, Neal Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. Champagne is the only cable designed to reproduce the quality sound you would expect to hear out of the best tube microphones in the industry. Champagne consists of 2 conductor 22 awg with 60 strands of 40 awg using only the finest of BLUE's virgin proprietary materials. BLUE then twists the pair to totally eliminate noise and covers them with the finest tinned copper braid to ensure an unsurpassed listening environment. To guarantee voltage and power, BLUE incorporates five more conductors or 24 gauge. This fine bouquet could only waft from BLUE's classic Champagne.

User tips: With many capsule options offered, there is something here for just about everyone. The B7 & B6 are designed for vocal use, the B5 for orchestral work, the B1 for percussion, acoustic guitars and so on.
