Apple and Apogee worked closely to ensure the new Firewire Ensemble not only sets new standards for sound quality and performance but is also a natural extension of Logic Pro 7. Ensemble is the first all digitally controlled, professional audio interface, designed specifically for the Macintosh.

Ensemble features 36 channels of simultaneous audio, including eight channels of Apogee's legendary A/D and D/A conversion, four transparent, digitally controlled 75db mic preamps, eight channels of ADAT I/O, 2 channels of S/PDIF coax and optical I/O, and FireWire connectivity to and from the computer. Cascade M37 - Small Condenser (Stereo Pair)

The Cascade M37 is a cardioid condenser that has a 21 mm diameter diaphragm. It is ideal for use as drum over heads, hi-hat, snare, or acoustic instruments such as guitar and piano. The M37 features a high SPL rate of 137dB for capturing even the loudest of sound sources. The Cascade M20u offers a new body style & grill along with improved specifications and performance. The new 1.07" gold vapor-diaphragm makes the M20u a great studio microphone capable of excelling in many applications of recording tasks and environments.
