Sony SRP-X351P

The SRP-X351P is based on the successful SRP-X350P, but has been updated to include a host of new features, including a more powerful 125 W per channel amplifier, RS-232 and Infra-Red remote control. Perhaps the most important addition is the inclusion of two Freedom series tuner sockets, which can accept either WRU-806A tuner modules or the new UWP modules, then requiring only speakers (such as SRP-S520) to make up a complete PA. 9V DC power is provided on the rear panel BNC antenna connectors for use with an active antenna (such as AN-820A). The SRP-X351P features A/V support in both S-video and composite formats.

A new feature is the MIC GROUP output, which allows the microphones to be routed independently of the main output (to ceiling loudspeakers, for example), and which includes an insert point, so that a feedback reducer or graphic equaliser (such as the SRP-E110) can be used efficiently. To further enhance the sound quality when microphones are used, a built in 100 Hz 12 dB/Oct LCF is permanently provided on each mic channel, to reduce handling noise & feedback and to prevent loudspeaker damage.
